Amoxicillin and gentamicin are two known antibiotics that each have a number of interesting therapeutic features and which when they act together have a broad antibacterial spectrum that includes G + microorganisms (especially Streptococcus, Staphylococcus si Corynebacterium) and Gram – (especially Escherichia coli, Pasteurella, Salmonella and Pseudomonas). Furthermore, in vitro tests have shown that they are acting synergistically. In addition, this product has an excellent diffusivity in the body and the formulation in the form of oily suspension allows for long-lasting treatment. The combination of amoxicillin – gentamicin in the GENTAMOX product improves the therapeutic properties of each antibiotic if administered separately.
