Meloxidyl oral solution for the relief of inflammation and pain in acute and chronic musculoskeletal disorders in dogs

Each ml contains:

Meloxicam ................... 1.5mg

Sodium benzoate .......... 2mg

INDICATIONS:

Alleviation of inflammation and pain in acute and chronic musculoskeletal disorders in dogs.

TARGET SPECIES:  Dogs.

DOSAGE AND METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION:

The product is administered orally.

Shake well before use.

To be administered mixed with food.

Initial treatment consists of a single dose of 0.2 mg meloxicam/kg body weight on the first day. Treatment will continue with a daily oral maintenance dose (every 24 hours) of 0.1 mg meloxicam/kg body weight.

The suspension can be administered using the graduated syringes inside the package.

The syringe is attached to the bottle and has a scale that corresponds to the maintenance dose (0.1mg Meloxicam/kg body weight).

In this way, for the first day of treatment, twice the maintenance volume will be required.

A normal clinical response can be observed in 3-4 days. If no clinical improvement is observed, treatment should be discontinued after 10 days. To avoid external contamination during use, do not transfer the contents of the vial to another container and use the graduated syringes found in the packaging only for this product.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

Do not use in pregnant or lactating animals.

Do not use in animals suffering from gastrointestinal disorders such as irritation or hemorrhage, in those with liver, heart or kidney disease, as well as in animals with bleeding disorders, or where there is obvious individual hypersensitivity to this product.

Do not use in puppies under 6 weeks of age.
